About Amy
Amy Rubinate is a children’s graphic novelist and audiobook producer... though she also wears many other hats! For over a decade, she has owned Mosaic Audio, an audiobook production company with studios in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Under her leadership, Mosaic has recorded and produced more than 4,000 audiobooks for major publishers.
At Mosaic, Amy has directed hundreds of audiobooks, specializing in memoirs and children’s titles. Her casting, directing, and producing work has received multiple Audie Awards and nominations.
Amy is the award-winning narrator of over 300 audiobooks, including series by Kiera Cass (The Selection), Megan McDonald (Judy Moody), Sharon Sala (Blessings, Georgia), Kristan Higgins (Blue Heron), and Wendy Wax (Ten Beach Road), as well as James M. Cain’s lost manuscript, The Cocktail Waitress.
She is also an experienced singer and actor, with a special love for playing historical figures from the California Gold Rush. Amy began her career as a college page in the children’s room at The Ferguson Library, which still ranks among her favorite jobs. She loves dogs and is a very bad juggler.
ONE OF THE INCREDIBLE THINGS ABOUT AMY IS HER VERSATILTY: AS A DIRECTOR, SHE'S THE NARRATOR WHISPERER, AND AS A PRODUCER, SHE'S THE PUBLISHER'S ALLY.
